I used this simulation to train students from the NSChE National Student Chapter on process simulation. We worked through how flare gas can be processed into LPG and discussed why we need each equipment along the way — from compression and cooling to separation and distillation. The goal was simple: don't just learn how to run a simulation. Understand the process and think like a process engineer.
